There is so much I have to be thankful for, and so much I take for granted. I treasure time spent with healthy family members during a holiday all based on thanks and a bountiful harvest.
The roasted Brussels sprouts were a tasty new addition to the annual melange of roasted vegetables as were the blackberry pies. I am also grateful for running water, a snaked drain, a working dishwasher, electricity and spending time away from work. Yes I know that Monday is only hours away, but I feel level headed and ready to do whatever is asked of me.
Thats what I call perspective.

The Sunday Dread
There is an odd feeling in the air, it must be Sunday. The distraction of the LCD screens wont keep Monday from arriving. This week is going to be hectic, with Tellabration happening on Saturday.
Tellabration is a wonderful evening of storytelling started late last century by J.G Pinkerton. He died two weeks ago, and I miss him. He was such a wonderful ,kind, smart and caring person who could really tell a story.
